Exploder 23 is already on the water!
On Friday, 13th April 2007, right after 13:00, the prototype trimaran INSGRAF of Exploder 23 class has been put on a water.
The launching of the yacht took place in Gdynia Marina.

Due to the lack of wind  on Friday  it was impossible to carry out the first  tests of the boat under the sails. Only on Saturdy the weather changed and brought the squalls that enabled Exploder to make the first tacks.

- The first test came off excellent. We are very glad and full of optimism –Wojciech Kaliski says – On a flat water, at 13 knots of the wind we managed to reach a speed of 20,8 knots, which gives the catamaran speed factor 1,6. This is the factor allowing to determine the maximal speed of the yacht in relation to the speed of the wind. The higher it is the better. Reaching that speed was possible, among other things, thanks to the use of hydro wings, that prove correct.

For the next days the sailers from Exploder Sailing Team announce further test on the water and  yacht trimming.
